Audio-Video Group Picked for AV Upgrade Project for the Frederick County Board of Education
Frederick, MD, May 19th, 2023 – Audio-Video Group (AVG), the leading provider of audiovisual solutions in Frederick, is pleased to announce that the Frederick County Board of Education has selected AVG for a significant upgrade to the school system’s central office boardroom and TV control room.
The Frederick County Board of Education unanimously approved the upgrade, with the investment of $476,432 sourced from the American Rescue Plan’s Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief Fund (ESSER).
This decision will ensure that the Board of Education is equipped with state-of-the-art technology to effectively operate in the event of another pandemic or similar situation requiring education to be remote again.
The ESSER fund is aimed to help schools reopen safely following the pandemic and address the impacts of the pandemic on educational infrastructure. AVG’s technological upgrade will significantly contribute to these goals.
