Client Success Story: The Weinberg Center for the Arts

The Weinberg Center for the Arts is a staple of the Frederick community. Each year, people of all ages enjoy their lineup of comedians, musical acts, movies, and more! But with so many of these acts using the theater’s projector, it was time for an overhaul of their system. In phase one of the project, AVG upgraded their video projection and video switching equipment. To kick off the project, AVG researched the best projector for the Weinberg. They use it often for their movie series, backdrops for bands and concerts, and film festivals, so it was important the projector was…

Client Success Story: Calvary Chapel in Ellicott City

Time for another great audio project brought to you by the team at Audio-Video Group! AVG was called upon to help design and implement a new sound system for Calvary Chapel in Ellicott City, Maryland.  Like many growing churches, Calvary Chapel had recently transitioned from a portable meeting space to a permanent space. This space, like many, was previously occupied and required some changes to make it functional. One major need—an audio system! Lead Pastor Dan Sexton is big on quality—so much so, that he wanted to ensure that everything was done right from the start. We can appreciate that,…

Client Success Story: Farm Credit

In late 2017, AVG was approached by the financial organization and lender Farm Credit to help design and implement a new A/V system for their Board Room. Farm Credit was planning a refresh of their main Maryland office located in Westminster. A main component of the refresh consisted of the addition of two new wings off their existing office building. It took almost a year to implement…

For this project, we used Brahler…

Client Success Story: Stauffer Funeral Home

For more than 45 years, Stauffer Funeral Home has been providing funeral arrangements and services for the Frederick community. Their funeral home originally utilized an analog audio system that we installed more than a decade ago. The system is used to route audio, like background music or services, to different areas within the building. At the time of installation, the system was intuitive, easy to use, and cutting-edge technology. Since that time, technology has evolved, and new products have become available to make systems like this easier to use. We started by upgrading the digital signal processor and a control…
