FCA Banquet – Case Study
Did you know that we offer Audio, Video, and Lighting Event Production services as well? Last March Frederick’s Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) teamed up with Audio-Video Group (AVG) for their year-end Victory Dinner. FCA, if you don’t know, is a great organization that works with the coaches and students in our schools to provide strong moral and athletic mentorship. Each year they recognize the coaches and students that participate within their program at the Victory Dinner.
This year FCA wanted to increase the production value of the event to better match the quality of involvement they receive from its members. The main question they had was “What is possible and how can we execute with excellence?” AVG met with the leadership of FCA for a brainstorming session to answer this question for them. This is where we were able to realize their vision and make it a reality. FCA needed video projection to show videos and a live camera feed, good clear audio, and lighting to set the mood of the room. This was no problem.
AVG provided two 9’x12’ rear projection screens, one on each side of the stage with 6,000 lumen projectors. During the Victory dinner the presentation switched between a Power Point slide show and a live HD video camera feed. The sound system was perfectly sized for the room and everybody could hear everything that was said clearly. The lighting was a combination of LED color mixing and Traditional par can lighting. The LED lighting created a creative backdrop of color to establish the mood or feel of the event while the traditional par cans provided front lighting on the presenters.
