Levitt AMP Frederick Music Series: June 2016
We’re kicking off the Levitt AMP Frederick Music Series tonight. This summer-long music series takes place every Tuesday evening in the Carroll Creek Amphitheater. Just like with Alive@Five, Audio-Video Group will be behind the scenes running the audio. Here’s a lineup of acts for June!
Tuesday, June 21, 2016 | 5:30–8:30 p.m.
Opener – Luna
Born and raised in Frederick, this 19-year-old singer/songwriter/guitar player/mandolin player enjoys sharing her love of music with her voice and instrumentation.
Headliner – Paul Pfau
This award-winning singer/songwriter gained national exposure on NBC’s hit show “The Voice” when we turned chairs of two coaches, ultimately joining Pharrell Williams’ team. He worked with a double-platinum recording engineer and two Grammy-award-winning engineers on his debut full-length album, which he won a WAMMIE for.

Opener – Lloyd Dobler Effect
In the decade that The Lloyd Dobler Effect has been performing, they have released 13 albums, toured all over the world, and written over 300 songs. Based in Silver Spring, they have garnered a solid and ever growing fan base, and were even voted one of the top ten best bands on the east coast by Washington Post readers.
Headliner – Jah Works
For over 20 years, Jah Works has been performing their original reggae music throughout the United States and internationally. Known for their high energy, party style atmosphere, their live shows appeal to reggae and non-reggae listeners alike.
