With Gratitude: A Reflection On Audio-Video Group’s 20th Year

With gratitude and sincere appreciation, we reflect on Audio-Video Group’s 20th year in business and we wish you a Happy New Year! It’s not news that 2020 was a strange year for everyone. It was also productive and innovative for many people and organizations. Audio-Video Group is proud to be part of the adaptations and growth that many of our clients made last year.

Houses of Worship

We worked hard with houses of worship to ensure that they had what they needed to safely and effectively reach their parishioners, including new sound systems, new or upgraded video streaming services, and production studios. We also had a lot of fun helping them prepare for the uptick in attendance for the holidays.

2020 Virtual Events

Our corporate and nonprofit clients hosted virtual events, meetings, and even galas with the help of Audio-Video Group’s production service, rental, and installation expertise. We were proud to advise our local business community to manage overflow as businesses reopened and helped funeral homes be there for families while taking the care not to spread COVID. We watched what could have been a tough year for many small businesses turn out okay thanks to their willingness to be flexible in their approach to work and eagerness to try new things.

Healthcare

Healthcare was a significant factor in 2020, as healthcare facilities had to keep their patients and staff safe while including the human element as much as possible. We helped nursing homes and hospices install virtual visitation stations. Frederick Health worked with us on setting up socially distant training rooms, virtual stations for nurses, no-touch conference rooms, updated board rooms, and virtual events.

COVID Tech Tool-Kits

We all learned together about new technology, including no-contact temperature scanners and systems that help teams communicate at a distance in loud environments. Although we don’t focus on home AV systems, we did help families hold virtual graduations and other milestone events safely.

Through many challenges, there was good in 2020, thanks to our clients, customers, and friends. Without you, we would not have learned as much or stretched as far as we did, and for that, we are grateful. It was quite a way to cap off 20 years in business, and from the bottom of our hearts, we thank you for being part of this journey.
